The Lachlan knot consists of a trio of elements forming a cross intertwined with and surrounded by a circular pattern. The motif speaks of stability and structure. The ancients would use square knot patterns like this one on their shields. Tradition says these "shield knots" offer protection against unknown dangers. I have repeated the pattern around the entire ring for an elegant tailored look. What a great way to let your beloved know you will always be there for them.

The intricate details run around the entire band. It is solidly crafted in your choice of 14KT white, yellow or rose gold or .925 sterling silver. I can also make this in 10KT, 18KT or 22KT gold, platinum, palladium, or most other metals. Please contact us for a quote.

Each ring is individually carved and crafted to your size. Many jewelers duplicate their original models with rubber molds, but you just don't get the same crisp detail in a mass produced copy. All of my rings are created from a first generation wax model. This ring is heavy enough to stand the test of time.

• To create your individually handcrafted piece, our current workload requires approximately four weeks from the date of order to the date of shipping. If you need your piece sooner, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request at no extra charge. Customized pieces may take longer. Please contact us for an ETA. If we have a piece in-stock in your size, metal and stone choice (if applicable), we will ship your item 1-3 days from when payment is received.
  
  

• DETERMINING YOUR CORRECT RING SIZE

  For the long term enjoyment of your ring, it is essential it fit well. It's generally best to have a local jeweler size your finger. Most will have narrow and wide ring sizing sets. Use whichever is appropriate for the ring you are ordering. Wide rings may require a slightly larger size.
