NORSE COLLECTION RING #3 with BLACK DIAMOND - Starting at $459

This is a Norse Viking inspired straight band ring with a black diamond in a bezel setting. This ring is intricately detailed with a unique Norse design featuring a biting animal motif surrounding the black diamond. The design is based on the principles and characteristics of actual ornaments and artifacts found in Northern Europe from circa 400 – 800 AD. Acknowledgement to the scholarship of Jonas Lau Markussen a graduate of Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts for his research into the art of this period.

The craftsmen of that age were skilled and created jewelry with similar
motifs bringing their cultural traditions to a tangible form. Our work
honors their skill and artistry and builds a connection between the
ancient and the modern worlds in a piece that can be worn every day and
is suitable to mark any special occasion.

GEMSTONE

The ring in the photo is set with a 5mm natural Black Diamond. The pricing below is for the same stone. Want a different gemstone? We can work with you to find your preferred gemstone -- or even help you determine what gemstone options would best meet your needs. The bezel is the most secure style of setting and its low profile is very comfortable to wear.

MATERIAL OPTIONS

This design is rich in detail and the deeply carved pattern will last a lifetime. The ring is solidly crafted in 14KT yellow, white or rose gold or .925 sterling silver. If you are interested in 10KT, 18KT or 22KT gold, stainless steel, platinum, palladium, or most other metals, adding a different gemstone or two-tone gold -- with the main portion of the ring in one color and the outer bands in another -- or other customizations, please contact us at designer@celticjewelscapes.com for a quote.

INDIVIDUALLY CARVED & CRAFTED

Each ring is individually carved and crafted to your size and specifications. Many jewelers duplicate their original models with rubber molds, but you just don't get the same crisp detail in a mass produced copy. All of my rings are created from a first generation wax model. This ring is heavy enough to stand the test of time.

• Creating your individually handcrafted piece takes time. Our normal lead time is four weeks. If you need your piece sooner, please contact us at designer@celticjewelscapes.com to see if we can accommodate your request at no extra charge. Customized pieces may take longer.  If we have a piece in-stock in your size, metal and stone choice (if applicable), we will ship your item 1-3 days from when payment is received.
  
  

• DETERMINING YOUR CORRECT RING SIZE

  For the long-term enjoyment of your ring, it is essential it fit well. It's generally best to have a local jeweler size your finger. Most will have narrow and wide ring sizing sets. Use whichever is appropriate for the ring you are ordering. Wide rings may require a slightly larger size for some people. If you cannot get to a jeweler we will be happy to send you rings sizers free of charge. Contact us at designer@celticjewelscapes.com. Please do not use plastic ring sizers you have ordered or purchased yourself. They are often off by a size or more.

  I DON’T SEE MY SIZE IN THE DROP-DOWNS

• Because every ring is one of a kind, we have the flexibility to make this design slightly wider or narrower depending on your preference. Want diamonds or two-tone gold? Glad to oblige. Different gems, both natural and lab-created, as well as various metals are available. Although this site primarily shows 14KT White Gold, yellow and rose gold, as well as .925 sterling silver, we can also make pieces in 10KT or 18KT gold, platinum, palladium, or most other metals.
