This wide heavy band skull ring brings to mind the The Latin term, "Memento Mori," which can be translated as "remember you have to die." Acknowledging mortality can remind us of how precious life really is. Memento Mori was a popular theme in Victorian art and jewelry and has seen a revival through the steampunk movement of today.

Being a native of Tucson, Arizona, I probably see more cheerful art featuring fully dressed and active skeletons, or simple skulls, than most Americans. Much of this derives from the culture of our neighbors to the south, specifically the Mexican 'Day of the Dead' or 'El Día de Los Muertos' celebration.

NOTE: This ring has the Latin numeral "II" following its name to distinguish it from our "Memento Mori I" where the skulls are arranged to all face the same direction.

** IMPORTANT ** Please enter your ring size in the order notes area which is available when you add your item to your cart. Please indicate your size in either U.S. (numbers) or European (letters) sizing.

* - If you would like to see the rest of our rings that feature skulls, please search our website for MEMENTO MORI.

* - If you would like to see other pieces that feature dragons or other creatures, please search our website for the DRAGON Collection or the ANIMAL MENAGERIE COLLECTION.

We can make any ring in various metals - sterling silver, Continuum silver, 10K, 14K, 18K and 22KT golds (yellow, rose, or white), palladium and platinum. Many of our rings are also available in stainless steel or two tone combinations. Please do a search for ______ to see this ring in more metal, width and stone choices. If you don't see exactly what you want please let us know as we are always happy to make it in the metal or width of your choice, when possible, or to add a stone, change a stone or alter the size of the stones. Contact us for any design modification and we will make the changes, send images, and quote you a price for the custom piece of your dreams.

Each piece is made individually. We never start with a mold or size a mass produced ring. While common practice for many jewelers, the detail we achieve cannot be replicated in a molded piece..

All our jewelry is made in the USA from recycled metals and is set with lab grown or conflict free diamonds and gemstones. Every design is our own creation, from design to finish. We produce each piece individually - casting, finishing, stone setting and polishing each one by hand. Our studio is located in Tucson Arizona where my family has lived for three generations.

Our rings come with a lifetime guarantee for the finish and sizing. We will resize your ring at no charge at any time.

  • To create your individually handcrafted piece, our current workload requires approximately four weeks from the date of order to the date of shipping. If you need your piece sooner, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request at no extra charge. Customized pieces may take longer. Please contact us for an ETA.
